Like I said, talked him down to $3200 and he said he'd trade on my truck, which is worth right at it's weight in scrap  and so I really don't care.
I think it was replaced. or they where. duh
No $hit sherlock but WHY were they replaced and where is the proof? Receipts? duh ...
Mileage is stored in the cluster, despite what you want to believe. There is a computer module built into the speedometer called a Programmable Speedometer/Odometer Module, AKA PSOM and that is where the mileage is stored.if an auto trans to manual trans swap or vise versa is done most guys change the computer too, all i was saying was that was a possibility.
and i don't think mileage in the cluster. if you get a different cluster, say one with 120k on it, but your truck has 200k. everyone would be switchin them out to sell the truck and get more money out of it. not only that but there's videos all over youtube of guys changing the clusters in the obs ford's and their mileage stays the same. how would the cluster save the mileage anyway?
Ive never seen that side cover section of the engine cover... Is it stock?
