Poped in the single cab ceramic DD and the pull trucks SI dual disc with no hitting and no issues. I know talking with Dan and Gary you can't get a larger pressure plate because of the lack of room with a ZF5

Not saying some you dont have to. The "webbing" you need to grind down isnt casted on every zf5 ive noticed but the S47 in the pull truck has it and it never hit.

Well Tim I don't know the last pull you've been to all of us over here use Valair in the pull trucks without an issue. Thats 15 trucks and im the only Ford. I didn't have to mod anything and the SI dual disc went right in. One of the pullers just picked one up from me two weeks ago due to his brand new SBC slipping like hell and them not doing anything about it due to the competition use. SBC also uses rubber bushings in their "quiet" dual disc to stop chatter that fall out over a short amount of time. Each company does something different. We just never have an issue getting in touch with Dan to ask questions and he likes pulling guys as hes one himself and always helps me help them on a price. I have no reason to argue with that.

You are right there. It has been a while since I have attended a pull in florida.
Not trying to piss on your trophies but pulling (that I have been a part of) down here is a joke. Plan and simple, the few people on here that remember a guy named Frank (aka Powersnorter), know of his 466 powered f350. And to have a setup where his truck was beaten out by two big block ford trucks on 46" tall tires is ridiculous.
But maybe if you guys are tearing it up on the circuit now, maybe we will have to give it a second chance and come out. Maybe they finally figured out how to run this thing. I still don't get have a 200ft track though.

Do the same here as we do up north. The first and second place trucks of diesels in dark corners last year were two Florida trucks. And that was hard packed clay:)

Up here is ALL SBC...not a valair in sight. BUT manual pullers are also becoming obsolete up here to auto's...But all the local guys still running a manual are SBC.

All that needs to be removed is a cast flaw. Now i didn't take that out on any of my trucks and by looking at it i still have 1" to clear. I'll post up a pic later
