i hope it didnt hurt the injectors. Maybe it was just something stupid like bad threads on the pump and not a bad pump.

it was not pushing debris, the pump didnt fail, it just had a fitting that kept leaking. ill bet i know where the new pump came from.

Heafner - RC/LB 7.3 with spec'd 76 (?) single from precision, 400/400s, built bottom end, tranny, etc.

Matthew Doyle - CC/SB 6.7 with SPE 63/80 compounds, SPE 60% over injectors, dual CP4.2 pumps courtesy of SPE, built ATS tranny (built in conjunction with SPE), trac bars, etc.

Beech - 6.4 with an 80 in front of the stock high pressure, built tranny, not sure on nozzles

Im pretty sure Beech is running dual pumps and 60% overs.

Tomorrow is dyno at ATS. Order will be determined in the morning. Team Ford is pretty strong this year.

Nothing tomorrow after dyno
Wednesday is trailer tow, followed by obstacle course, followed by drag racing
Thursday is the MPG cruise (determines winner in case of tie breaker) and sled pull

It happens for whatever reason. My little truck in Billings last year sprung a leak I got the fitting out and didn't see anything. Got it back together and it was bad as ever. Found later the little seal washer had slight erosion on it and leaked. Replace the washer and it was good.

My point is any small issue can cause a problem

wednesday is drag race, trailer tow and trailer obstacle, and thursday is sled pull. at least thats how its been every year before.

The truck will be ready. Cab will be down very soon. Now it's time to focus on getting Erik to go to sleep and be ready for tomorrow.
