I'm running one on my 6l.its quite different since its not in a truck but i plugged the front cover coolant port.ran oil cooler outlet to the heater core.

Thanks, I was also looking at that option. The 04 truck I have doesn't have the vacum operated shut off for coolant so it's always circulated.
