Well I've been workin a deal with a guy for a while and this weeken it is going down he has a 04 f350 (much like myself) with a 10" lift that he uses as his work truck, he was tired of the hassle of loading and unloading it, so my stock setup is going on his and his 10" springs are going on the ox, I'm pretty stoked, only crappy part is the shop is a little tight with 2 super duty's in it.

Are you swapping gears to? I just noticed that the donor truck had the diff cover off.

Not sure yet donor owner (haha) is still thinking about it, he has 4.56, I have 4.10, I would like the 4.56 .

He is dropping to 33" tires, 4.56 and 33's is not great for milage

Shop is destroyed have a few little jobs come in and out slowing us down, front is almost done on the donor, had to run to summit in Reno to get new bushings for the leaf springs, the ones that where installed are thrashed, and leaf pack pins the rears where sheered off

More than likely 37x13.5x16 ss m16, finding a tire for a lifted dually becomes difficult because I want to keep 16" or possibly 17"

"leaf pack pins the rears where sheered off"

I have seen this happen so many times(and on stock trucks).....,seems like it would be brought up often. Got to the point where I won't even use the supplied pins, easy enough to find grade #8 substitute instead. I've seen double pins with one broke, and the other severely worn. The AAL on my 150 came with #5 allen heads, straight to the trash, and shame on the supplier. Dangerous, and easily avoidable IMO. Good luck with the swap, very cool!

The pins where replaced with some meaty bastards I got from napa, I'm friends with the guy that does the medium duty/18 wheeler stuff, he hooked it up.

The other truck that went back to stock didn't get blocks in the back because the pins became one with the block tried drilling them, but it didn't work out
