Hey guys. I need an additive like rev x but need it sooner than can be ordered. Is there anything that can be purchased at a local parts store that acts like rev x. Something that will clean the spool valves and help injector wise. Thanks. Ryan

I don't think there is anything out there that can do what rev x can. Let me know if you want some lol. I just got a new shipment in stock.

I have found Evergreen's AR9100 oil additive to be just as good as rev-x so far and at half the price but you do have to order it.

The ar9100 works just as good if not better than rev-x. But you do have to order it. I try to keep some in stock. If you need some let me know.

Im a loyal rev x user, you use more archoil than you do rev x. Depends on the situation, but saying one works better is a tough call!

Greg is right, that a less amount of additive is needed with rev-x vice AR9100 but the cost to treat the same amount of oil is about 40-45% less than if you use rev-x. I definitely won't argue that rev-x doesn't work because it most DEFINITELY does, but I think the AR9100 does just as good. JMO of course from what I have noticed.

YEP :whs:

It already KILLS me to be spending the $140 just for oil that I do to run Amsoil and then if I add $65 for rev-x, it just puts me over the top to be doing that every 5-6k miles LOL.

I'm not am additive hater, but what does it do?

I've seen YouTube videos, forum.comments, I looked at the msds sheet years ago and it was 50 percent potassium and the other half a secret ingredient. Banana oil?

I can you tell you first hand before it became widespread the Blackstone lab people said I had an internal coolant leak by noting the high ppm potassium. I ran it in my old truck equipped with a school bus engine, it didn't need any help with starting, etc. Just thought id try it

I also use AR 9100 and have used REV-X in the past, both are very good, but AR 9100 is just more affordable. My first order ended up being free because they sent me the wrong stuff, so I shippe dit back and they sent me double my order, plus aome fuel additive and gun oil..... very good to deal with
