I was driving the other day, cruising at about 90-100mph making 32psi and the next thing i know i have white smoke and horrible smell of oil, when i looked under the hood there was oil on the hood, on top of the motor, under the motor, it was completely covered, when i looked, it looked like it was coming from in the back of the motor somewhere like possibly from the turbo, it was dripping down the exhaust, but any help with this is much appreciated

You can do it with home tools. I've never done it yet so I can't say how hard it is to do. When you look at the hpop I think they are on the drivers side in the vally. I've you find them follow them to the heads and check the connections on both sides if each line. Hope this helps. Hopefully someone will chime in and descdibe it a little better then I did.

Edit.. They dont brake off. The orings just blow out.

First thing to do is try to clean everything as much as possible so you can determine where the leak is coming from. Could be turbo seals...could be hpop lines. Did the truck die when this happened? If it was the hpop lines...as soon as enough oil ran out...the truck would die because there wouldn't be enough left to power the injectors. The white smoke would lead me to believe that it was somewhere internal...meaning I would lean more toward the turbo seals.

Next thing...check your oil level and hope that it is below full. If your dipstick shows full or above full...you may have an injector that failed...dumping fuel and overfilling the pan.

I will check the orings, and no it did not die, and it was not burning oil in the motor, it was just dripping onto the exhaust which was making it smoke and smell, i put some oil in it and drove it and it still leaked even when cold, and the oil pressure gauge is still showing good oil pressure

Item #35 are the HPO lines. Could also be o-rings #21 or fittings lose # 34. Clean the valley and then have someone start the truck. You will see the location of oil squirting out at high pressure.

Any one tell me how a turbo seal is spraying oil under the hood....

Jesus...

It is a hpo oring somewhere... be it a line, be it at the pump, or the headplugs.... Fill it with oil, start it up, and see where it is spraying from.

There is only a little bit on the hood, but it is directly above the turbo, and when i start it up it drips down on the exhaust, from the top of the motor, almost like it is coming out from the valley but nothing is draining into there, oh and the turbo was completely soaked with oil
