The ebpv is a device behind the turbo that helps with warm up in the winter. Theres a rod on the back of the turbo pedestal that connects to the outlet flange on the turbo. Oil likes to leak out of it. Mine would gush oil out of it on a hard run. Check that to see if its leaking.

There is not a whole lot on top but if you actually look at it then you can see the coat of oil on the turbo, but most of it is on the bottom of the motor and down the ck and its even covering the front axle, ill post a pic of that later, but if your saying that if the ebpv leaks and it is on the back of the turbo, i would bet that that is the problem, how hard is it to take that off and what do you replace it with?

THAT'S NOT YOUR EBPV. You have oil or fuel spraying..turn the key on and look... If no leak then fire it up...you ain't going to hurt it it will shutdown before that.....you will find the leak in a hurry... Have some one fire it for you so you can turn it off quick.

It only sprayed once, now it just drips, and its more on the drivers side than anything, and its all on the exhaust and back of the motor

Does the valley look like a lake? If not, it is nothing on the top of your motor. Spray it all down with brake cleaner. Start it up and look. Use a flashlight and a mirror. Pay real close attention to the back of the motor. Betcha you find something like Wackerjr is describing. You will find your leak that way.

i found where the leak is coming from, it is a big round piece directly under the fuel filter, im pretty sure its the hpop but judging from the pic on post #10 its not the hpop, its round and has a clip ring in it and it looks like the oil is leaking from the bottom where the gap in the clip ring is

Sounds like the rear of the HPOP.

Ok so how do i replace that seal?

If you don't feel comfortable doing the repair, you may be able to send it to Joey at Terminator.

HPOP Rear Plate O-ring Seal

This is the only sealing o-ring that is located behind the large disk and snap ring.

Please Note: A leak or seeping o-ring in this locataion is a very uncommon leak but it can happen. Before you order this o-ring, make sure that your leak does not originate from one of the discharge hoses, rear plug or non-serviceable plug and the oil has been pushed back to the snap ring lip from air flow over the HPOP.

Any one tell me how a turbo seal is spraying oil under the hood....

Jesus...

It is a hpo oring somewhere... be it a line, be it at the pump, or the headplugs.... Fill it with oil, start it up, and see where it is spraying from.

I was also wondering why this went down the turbo seal when you wrote that.
