i havent seen a new oil thread in a long while, but seems Rotella syn is still a popular favorite. So just wondering what the HP junkies of the Army are running.

When I had my 02 I ran 15/40 AMSOIL.

I second that. Went from CAT 15w40 Dino to mobil1 syn to extreme blue and noticed a huge difference in oil life (not breaking down) and idle quality. Much more stable an smoother

Where I live I can't find mobil 1 5W40 in town so I run chevron Delo 5W40 synthetic. Always thought about Amsoil but can't justify the price.
