I have a bunch of $2.00 bills and a lot of old coins.. Where are you located in RI? I come down that way a lot, my mom lives on the MA/RI border..

The first US silver dollars were dated 1794. You may have a fantasy piece or one of the huge numbers of fake "dollars" that have flooded the market in recent years.

I'm joking with you. I heard a 1893 silver dollar is worth about $1200.

it depends on the mint mark and the grade. but for an average 1893 Morgan silver dollar is about 130 bucks
