Never heard of 6.0's doing this? Its a HUGE problem with them, needle bearings fall from lifters, wipe out the lpop, and cam sometimes, its just not as common on 7.3's

6.0's **** lifters too often... you'll start seeing it in higher mile 6.4's
Not so much in the earlier 6.0's. Not sure if they went to a different supplier for them or what. It's not a super wide-spread problem, but it's enough of a problem that if somebody's getting heads/gaskets, I always recommend new lifters. They're cheap insurance because when you lose one, you're usually looking at a complete overhaul... it just wipes out so much stuff
