What's up guys. Quick question, right now I have the driveshafts out of my truck. I have to replace the Ujoints and carrier bearing in an 07 ccsb lifted around 10-12". My question is. Can I go to a 1 piece shaft without issues? Has anyone done this or can give any insight on this subject? Reason I'm asking is essentially that would remove the carrier bearing and 1 less yoke connection. Would just go from transfer case to axle.

Let me know what you guys think.

Take some measurements and give your shop a call and they'll tell you yes or no. I've seen a lot of guys runs one pieces on CCSB trucks. Longbed the shaft length it just too long.

Why would CCLB stop you from going to a single?

Too long of a single shaft doesn't have the strength it needs. That's why semis can't run a single.
