Only goes 30mph!!!

Well got a 2001 f250 with a 7.3l the guy says he can only get 30 mph out of it. He has no codes, changed fuel filters and were clean. The truck sounds and runs smooth and shifts great.... Any ideas guys???

If there is no check engine lights, I would check for a fuel issue. I would check for codes first though.

I havent driven the truck yet i plan on it within the next couple of days. but from what the owner says it seems to be running smooth just has no ass and wont go past 30. when i drive it i will check for boost. Could it be a fuel pressure issue since the filters were clean? or if no boost maybe a wastegate issue?

Sounds more like a valet switch to me

My truck did the same thing after I replace my turbo. I forgot to hook up my ebpv and it stuck shut.
