Opinions needed, Lope idle tune

Honestly man, if you like the way it sounds and think its cool go for it. Its your truck who cares what people think. i had one in my truck for a little bit 2 or 3 years ago i thought it sounded cool. never had an issue with it just got annoying after a while and haven't ran one since.

Yeah no ****. He wants it for his son, which I am going to go out on a limb and assume hes a small child. His son may like hearing it, and as parents, this is one of those things we do for our kids. Who gives a damn what anybody on here thinks...using it for a couple minutes here and there is not going to hurt anything at all. If your son likes it, get it and let him be entertained.

So many of you ***in dolts on this forum pop off at someone for something you think is gay or stupid. If its not yours, then let it ***ing be, the guy has a legitimate reason for wanting it, he didnt ask how to blow tons of smoke everywhere, jesus..grow the hell up. And owning a 9 second import may be "gay", but i dont recall a tuned/exhaust 7.3 or 6.0 being "badass" either.

Thank you. Honestly I liked the lope that came with the Extreme X tune from Eric. Not much hazing at idle either IIRC, but it does get annoying after a while with the truck bucking back and forth when you're on the brake. Personal preference is what it all boils down too, and I've YET to get a legit description of possible damage that could be done to the engine.

If your son likes it, get a lope tune and enjoy that big smile he gives you.

to Jason, Thank You Sir for pointing out the whole MAIN reason here that Iam even considering lope'd tune.. It Is For My 8 yr old son, Honestly Sole purpose of it! I mean hell Iam 29 yrs old an can Still remember when my dad just put an after market exhaust on his old chevy.. just say'in. an I Know he would Love it if I do it, he has already ask me.. "daddy, can we make this truck sound like a pull'in truck" lol I just thought it would be pretty cool too pull up next friday too pick him up from school an it sound that way

But Yea, That was the whole Reason for this thread was too get some Legit responses as too why an How it would hurt the engine.. And as too actually How Bad it would!

Might be, but that search button can work wonders for certain questions, ideas, etc. Really all boils down to what you want to do, it's your truck. Hell some dont like stacks some do. All it boils down to is its your truck, do what you want regardless of what others think.

Wow this blew up, sorry bud, I was only breaking balls. I don't know much of the affects to cylinders but it seems worthless to me. I admire you're desire to please your sons interest. Can't say my father did much of that for me, but if that's your real reason, he'll yeah make that kids face light up like a Christmas tree!!!

Ok here's a tune from eric at ID...it's the extreme x with lope. It's smokey when cold, but eric could've fixed that, but i decided not to run it. Eric said there will be no issues running his lope tunes the way he writes them. If you really want one...contact eric at Innovative [email protected]

RCD has a lope tune as well. I believe he may have been the first to advertise it...YouTube I recall.

Strokin, Man the first vid sounds Good!! But the second one isnt really even lope'in huh? I wander if he could make it sound like to first one even after it warms up?

Iam pretty Sure I will be calling eric anyways as I want the X tune.. I will talk to Him about this whole Lope stuff!

Update on the sinister tunes..

I got 2 tunes from mike, one is a street driver tune other is performance.. Honestly, they just Dont seem that much more than the can SCT street an performance tunes... Iam Real curious too see what some of the other guys tunes do Performance wise!
