Is the shudder on take off? If so it should go away, if not you may need to space the carrier down a bit more.

Yes, only when leaving from a stop with a heavy load. Doesn't do it when I pull our boat but will do it with big toyhauler.

Is it me or does the truck ride better? Feels more stable overall. My wife commented on it as well when she drove it. I got the weld in kit with large gussets and high hp bushings.

I dnt know if it rides better, but there is no more axle wrap. I also put pro comp extreme ATs on at the same time and they seem to ride worse than the Nittos I had before

I just installed mine about a month ago too, craftsman ship is top notch. It took me about an hour to unwrap them LOL

They are weld on mounts, under the axle

The camera pics didn't turn out too well with my phone so I'll snap some better pics when it stops raining this weekend. I did bring the trailer home last night. Towed noticebly better. The shudder isn't completely gone but much improved. I know the carrier bearing is bad and need to get that taken care of. It's only about a year old but the axle wrap must have destroyed it already??
