What were the bp #s on the dyno?

Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

I don't know what that "bp #s" on a dyno is. The dyno was set up for a dyno event and nothing was changed for my truck. I know the number is high and I myself still don't believe it, although the truck is a beast on the road. The results are from a good dyno, but that is what it is just a result from one dyno, and is why I want to backup the numbers when I can. I plan on getting the head gaskets fixed and then taking truck somewhere else to back the numbers up. Due to time of year (holidays and winter) it may take till spring to get the backup.

I wasn't monitoring the bp at the time, the backpressure on the turbo is a little high at first as in any turbo and then runs close to the 1:1. I will get you the numbers after I get the trick fixed, I also plan on heading up to IDP to see Eric sometime in the spring, I can head over to you or you could meet me at Eric's to see the truck first hand.

might have to make a trip down to Eric's to see this. Last time I was there he was getting finished tuning a truck with your turbo on it...

Cool. Sometimes being broke and doing things slowly has its advantages lol

Yea I dont know where the fad for huge 6.0 nozzles came from. I honestly am happier with 30% nozzles than any other on most street driven trucks. For just a street driven/tow truck its hard to beat the driveability of a 30% nozzle and makes good power. Derail over...

We knew it was coming.... :gethim: and it finally did. Now, what kind if superglue do you need to keep the head-gaskets in place? How advance was the timing?

I talked to Jesse and he told me he had the timing maxed at 12 degrees. The truck was showing signs of head gasket failure puking before I got to the dyno. One of the many times down the 1/4 to get the truck tuned in, I noticed the puking, even on trip to Altanta I notice coolant in the driver side wheel well. I'm very hard on the truck when I'm testing different turbo to make sure they last. I have seen 60-70 psi of boost on some of the proto types, and regularly take the truck into the 2000 egts with a special CAC pipe that bleeds off. I think the truck has more in it with this combination, so I have to get the head gaskets fixed and then hit a dyno, track, to back the number up.
