Is setting a p1298 with a swamps idm normal? I'm finally trying to get my 7.3 running right and after multiple compounding problems a ****ty Idle and random misfire at light throttle are still a issue I need to deal with. I may try a different idm it's one of the few things I havnt looked at yet.

They are fairly new but I'll be cheacking all the wiring from the idm to injectors tomorrow. The injectors full force 350/200's were just fixed up by Tim. truck definetly runs better just not perfect yet. They were junk from the day they made them bigger. I'm determined to get this thing running like it should after letting it sit for 2 years.

Yeah, they're always full of problems after sitting for any period of time. Did the problem show immediately after injector install?

P1298 is normal with our HVHF IDM...

basically...if you hear all 8 injs buzz...then the IDM is good.

note that NON motorcraft inj wiring harnesses/gaskets (and cam sensors) can contribute to intermittent issues, assuming fuel/injs are in good condition

All oem parts... Not sure on the cam sensor going to have a look later

Im gonna bet its the CPS. I have the Swamps IDM and was having the exact same issues and code as you. I swapped out the CPS and no more issues.

Swapped the cps last night, much better. Still a random stumble over certain bumps. So I still need to look at the harness and pop the covers off and put some quarters in the connectors that I never bothered doing on my own **** box lol.
