They're a little translucent, but I can't imagine they'd reflect much or be very bright. It was a beautiful truck tho.

Does anybody have any pictures of dark copper trucks with tinted tails? I just bought a dark copper truck today and I'd like to tint them to blend in a little better with the paint.

Tinted, not painted. That would not fly around here. I'm just talking about dark copper trucks with maybe a light coat of tint to make it similar to the maroon/dark copper paint color.

Yeah , that looks good. I plan on doing my '08 tails like that, but with a high gloss finish.

Little bro (Rmartin-97) did mine last weekend. They turned out pretty slick. They look really dark in the pic but they're not that dark in good light. I like em, really helped the look I'm trying for.

Two good coats of VHT. Actually came out a little darker than I intended but I don't think anyone will mess with me. Can still see the lights thru them pretty well.
