whats keeping a code from coming up if your deleted?

might want to check in to that ? worst case is someone did it with an sct and never unmarried it so if you go to tune it you'll need to go to the dealer and get flashed back to stock before you can load your tunes

Yeah its got an sct logo on the tailgate so i assume its tuned, its runs a lot better than stock.

If you leave the egr valve in place, plugged in the truck wont throw a code.

it will throw a P0401 Insufficient EGR Flow code on the newer 6.0's like Monks

You may want to see if you can find the SCT device it is married to your truck and worthless to whomever has it now and will save you fome headaches in the future

Well got to digging around. I'm already studded and deleted. Time for some gauges and tunes!.

SWEET!!! Time for the fun to begin :evil

Some of the early trucks won't through a code when deleted and running stock tuning. Even my 05 won't show a code with the valve straight unplugged. I guess its up to early 05's with a Blue engine sticker.

My 05 has the red engine sticker and doesn't throw a egr flow code stock.

You know what mine might throw the code but not set the cel. The truck has been tuned to stock for probably less than 100 miles since I've owned it lol and I don't think I've ever scanned it stock.

The only reason why I noticed it was I went back to stock to get some stuff checked at the dealer.
