Just put these on after a cummins destroyed my drivers side mirror, got the chrome caps on now but most likely color matching the other pair to the color of my hood. New bed, paint, wheels and tires coming in December

Easily one of my favorite mods ive ever done, and these are oem power folding and telescoping wired the oem way with an 08 mirror switch and power fold relay.

Didn't this truck get a cummins conversion a while back.

The first cummins found its wy into the truck in 2008. Ran a set of hige twins on the truck for about a year then switched truck to a 2.6 puller. Sold it last Dec as a roller.

I painted the '99 mirror arms because they were rusting to h3ll.

People generally don't appreciate how much better the 08 mirrors are than the pre 08 mirrors. The '11 mirrors have heaters on the convex part, which I would dearly love to have. I use those all the time and it sucks when they are frosted up.

The really funny thing was that when I bought that truck in '99 it had the best mirrors you could get or put on a pickup truck. Even though they didn't telescope and weren't heated. Back then everyone was adding temporary mirrors on the front fenders to see the trailer.

The other funny thing is that 13 years later neither Dodge nor GM have caught up to Ford in the mirror department, IMHO. It makes me wonder if the guys who design these trucks actually use them.
