Only when figuring height of P-metric tires. A 35-12.50 X 15, 16, 18, 20, 22, etc. is 35" tall by 12.5" wide...plus or minus just a bit.

A 295/65-20 specs out at 35.1" tall and 11.6" wide whereas a 295/65-18 is 33.1" tall and 11.6" wide. Again plus or minus a bit for actual tire size.
