Please help Light Switch problem!!!!!

I have posted in the "addicts" about this but no reply i have a 95 and the rheostat in the head light switch is getting hot...but how hot is to hot and does anyone know or have a diagram of the light swith plug on back of swithc i need to know whats ground and have used a test light....nothing please help

If I had a doubt on the switch I would simply replace it. Those do seem to burn up from time to time.

I don't think the HL switch controls any grounds, the connector is a common failure, you'll see heat damage.

I have replaced the switch and pig tail still gets hot but I drove like 2 hours with em on this morning and seemed ok dash wasn't getting hot or anything so....idk
