I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a 2008 F-350 I found on the interweb. It has a solid body but has a possible bad engine. The dealership said it blows a cloud of white smoke when it runs, but supposably has full power. When I asked if they had an idea of what its issue is they said they believe that it may have a blown cylinder. For $6900 I still think it sounds like a good deal if I do the work myself, hopefully I get it right the first time. But what are your opinions?
And if I do get it for a good price I'd like to remove the "bad" stuff with a tuner and whatever other upgrades I need to increase the reliability. I have no clue where to start with that so please point me in the right direction!
