Yes you could say so but that ole OBS has some good power and I had to trailer the DRW when I bought it from a freind cause it had bad torque converter and would not drive. I found 2 of 3 loose feed bolts above the valve body and fixed that along with installing multi disk billet converter then hydra chip and gauges. Now that DRW will be doin the pullin

Nice looking! At least it was a relatively simple fix!

It ran terrible but that was because of worn fuel pressure regulator.
I only paid four thousand because it would not drive :evil

Thank you sir. I need to citrus wash the floor of it to brighten it up some, otherwise the whole thing is polished. Took me a long time and a lot of steps to get it to a near mirror finish but when people tell me how difficult it is to drive behind me on a sunny day or with their lights on it makes it all worth it.

What did you use to polish it?

It was a multi step process. First I took all the lights out of the bed, then sanded it with 600 grit, then 800 grit, cut it twice with a yellow airway with brown rouge, hit it again with a green airway with green rouge, then hand polished it with california customs metal polish. The end result is what you see in the picture.

What brand is the bed?

The bed is a Hillsboro

Transfer tank:

Corner is sanded a few times and hand polished twice. The rest of the edge as you can tell hasn't been touched.

Sanded, hit twice with the yellow wheel. I ended up going back and sanding the whole bed again after I cut it once to get it smoother.

Sanded, you can see just before the bottom of the picture where I stopped cutting on my first pass with the airway.

This rail was mostly done aside from touch up and hand polish.

What grit sand paper did you use? Normally I hit aluminum with an orange wheel and brown rouge then yellow with green and white with blue and had some pretty nice results. It's interesting to see how everyone does it a little different.
