Power steering/break issue

A friend has an 08 F350 srw. He just bought the truck with 130k on it. He says he is having an issue with his power steering going out when he hits the breaks. He said he checked the fluids right after purchasing the truck and noticed the power steering fluid level was high. Been driving it for a week without issue and now this problem has surfaced. No visible leaks or odd noises from the system. Any thoughts on what he should look at? Thanks for any help.

Does it just happen intermittently? Do the brakes feel normal when this happens, or hard to push? I could be the hydroboost.

He said brakes usually feel normal. Power steering goes as soon as brakes are pressed and returns when he lets off brake pedal. He said it has been happening every time brake is pressed for past 2 days.

Sounds like the hydroboost is going out. I recon it could be the pump as well
