900 is hot for me. My stocker kept me around 700. What is hot is on a tow tune, with four dirt bikes in my bed, keeping 65mph on hills, is 1250.

Yeah...700 with stock injectors. I'm telling you 900 is a very common temp for highway cruising in trucks with larger injectors.....and no, its not that hot. Why don't you ask any of the compounded guys what they're cruising temps are. I did and its between 850 and 900. You're not making much boost at 80 mph so it's more the amount of fuel being pushed not the size of your turbo that will effect temps. Once you're into boost, then bigger turbos cool down egts.

I understand that. But with 190s and compounds, I would hope I don't cruise at 900.

you're still going to be that "hot" at 80mph with a 64. And 900 isn't all that hot for 190's dude.
