took a look at the receipt cuz that sounded low to me and it was 850$ parts and labor sorry to get ya all worked up... crap forgot to mention that they used my stock bearings too... they took the bearing off the old diff and spec'd them and said there was no reason to get new ones cuz they still looked new... so they pulled them off and pressed them on my trutrac... so if you decide to do new ones, i think there 50-100$ for a set... also they had me leave it there for a couple days... don't know if they will be able to do yours while you wait or not.

It's been a minute.... but I think I payed like 580 for the carrier and a few bucks for a gallon of gear oil.

One evening under the back of the truck and done. With the prices listed here, doing it yourself seems highly practical.

It hasn't broken. And that's saying a lot. I've popped the converter/trans 3 or 4 times since installing it. It's probably seen a few hundred miles of rolling burnouts in that time.

The only time I feel anything quirky, is when fully loaded, with a lot of tongue weight, you'll want to go very easy pulling out and making a 90* turn. It will pop and buck and would almost certainly snap an axleshaft if you got on the power much in a situation like that.

Unloaded, you'll never know it's back there.... unless you take note of the fact that both back tires almost always spin. Almost..... because I have had it open up on me a handful of times, but only in the absolute worst of conditions.

It is by far the best carrier I've ever owned.
