35 and 38 is 1.08:1 so that's pretty close but the factory sensor is maxed out at 38 so it's probaby higher.
But the statement of all non vgts being 1:1 is inaccurate. Drive pressure/boost ratios will varry with set up to set up and turbo to turbo.
Matt is right and very smart. There is a lot of mis information thrown around about ebp, vgt, and non-vgt turbos. Just like Matt said... Drive pressure/boost ratios will vary. You can get a vgt turbo to run at 1:1 ratios and non-vgt turbo run well past that. It is all about the setup/sizing/tuning... but smaller a/r housings and vgt turbos tend to run higher ebp. That is why/how they spool faster.
