Thats exactly what I was thinking when he described the symptoms.

No you don't need a new gasket. What you need is the repair clips from Ford. The main harness connector under the VC has prob come loose, it's very common. And fix both sides.

Well it put about 1/4 in in a 5 gal bucket in about 15 seconds.

Are you saying a 1/4" or 1/4 of the bucket? I'm guessing 1/4".

Another thing to check is around the GEM area, the reason they usually go out is due to the windshield having a small leak or condenstation in that area. Make sure it is dry.
