Ahhh what studs to do? More and more trucks with standard arps are blowing gaskets. O-rings seems like the cure but if this thing blows gaskets the motors getting junked and a low mileage short block will be built up.
$$$$ I think I'm gonna do Orings and 425s. Collester has been running that for awhile with a s366 and 475 with a little nitrous for like 2 years. This engine has 225k miles on it so Lord knows when a lifter will get chewed up, dont feel like spending that kinda money on it.orings & 625s
Yea, but tune the 6.4 and you're up to where this is... lolI'd be lucky to get 13k for this thing. Then I'd have to start over with a 6.4

That's what I'm gonna do. I'd love a 6.4 but I don't make enough. If I do anything drastic it will be a tow rig/Dd and a billet 475 for the 6blow.Id just stud it, it already has a trans and is built and you don't have to worry about the expensiveness of a 6.4

It's amazing for a 5r but after I saw a 500hp 7.3 bark all 4 33x13.50s at the track I wish I did a 4r.How do you like the twisted 5r.
I'm thinking of a 4r swap in mine.
