Looking to see some PTM bumpers. Im rocking two tone green/tan and looking for ideas on which color to paint the bumpers. Any and all are welcome but I'd mainly like to see two tone guys with PTM bumpers

Lots of time and energy into it. Took 2 days to mix the color the way I wanted it. Lots of pearl in it. Underside was completely stripped and painted, along with smoothing all the badges. Appreciate the kind words.

I have my bumpers prepped for paint but can't decide what color.. I'm thinking about doing gloss black vynil on the rockers, gloss black paint for front and ret bumpers and the plastic price on the front bumper PTM green

And then I have to decide wether to keep the flares or not. If so what color to paint those? Leave the tan don't? Lots to think about

What's the thought process behind introducing the black?

Is the grille black now?

Like the overall setup on your truck, looks mean.

Grille is custom made PTM green. I dunno really Ive always thought gloss black and my green Would be a cool combo. I guess i just thought the black would easily cover the tan and go good with the other accents on the truck. Black wheels/black grille inserts/black 5th wheel tailgate. I'd love for the whole truck to be one color but it seems impossible to match the 13year old paint

I love your truck Dom. Dunno why but I never noticed you deleted the badges. Looks so clean.

Thank you much, appreciate it.

I had really thought about going with black bottom, it was an option for like a year or so with the red. The thing is, after seeing a couple of trucks with it, IMO, it dulls the main color of the truck. Where as, IMO, the tan helps make the green pop, from what I can see in the pics. Just a thought, paint the rear bumper green, paint the top of the front bumper green, and use the tan as accent on the grille. Maybe tan on the outermost edge of the flares? Just thinking aloud here.

Oh yeah, pull your mirrors in :poke:

Lol I like my big ass mirrors as far out as I can get em! I like your idea and agree about the black. Goin back to your paint suggestions what would you do the metal part of the front bumper in? I was thinking green and leaving the plastic peice tan to match the tan on the outer most part of the flare

Sorry to derail, but where'd you get that grille?

E-bay special.

I would do the metal and the plastic in green. Have the full "edge" of the flare tan, and then bring it down to nothin on the plastic part of the bumper, like the start of an old school pin stripe. Then I'd paint the grille oval tan, and maybe some accents on the grille tan, but not sure. It's hard to see the details of the truck with such a small pic of it, even zooming in on the iPad.

Only gripe I have is painting the grille any kind of tan. It is literally impossible to remove the retainer from the plastic grille with destroying it

Girle green, oval tan. Looks way better with the Harley lights. (but for full disclosure, I greatly dislike chrome.)

I have the same color scheme as your truck. I will be doing an 05 front end conversion soon. I am trying to decide if i should do PTM or leave it chrome.
