The owner of the ceramic coating shop screwed up my order. He coated the housings in Black instead of the Titanium. (Green)
I didn't really care, but the Titanium is rated for over 2000*F, whereas the black is rated for 1600*F...
I got the natural color on the blankets because it kinda matches the "Arizona Beize" on the truck...and black makes it impossible to spot any exhaust leaks.

Started welding up the gate.
There's just no pretty way to get the elbow under the adaptor, then run it under the turbo, and up the other side, so I am using another passenger side up pipe with the EGR vband still on it.
Got as far as needing a 1.75" flex joint before tying into the hot pipe. (don't wanna grind the ceramic coating off till I really have to.)

Ivan, you know if any of those turbo blankets will work with the factory vgt turbine housing?

heh, heh...yup.
The wife cranked me a good one when I rolled into it while taking an on-ramp.
Cruise set at 70mph, 2000 rpm, I now see 12 psi drive to the secondary, 5 psi drive to the primary, 3.5 psi out of the primary, and 10 psi total boost with 700*F egt's.
Internal gates on secondary are tightened up to not open at all.
Going up a slight hill, I saw 20 psi drive to secondary, 10 psi drive to primary, 8-9 psi out of primary, and 18-19 psi total boost with 1100*F egt's.
Pretty damn happy with the way it runs right now.
Just didn't want to blow the stock up pipes that I had to use, so I just did real quick "tests"...
