Question about what tune to rub with H&S

Buddy of mine bought a H&S tuner.When programing it to the truck it ask does he still have the DPF on. He does so he answered yes. It will still let you load the Mild, Wild, or Hot tune. Is it going to hurt anything if he runs the Wild tune with the DPF. I am guessing the tuner must have a different tune for having a DPF and not?

I am pretty sure you have to download any of the larger tunes from their web site and the DPF on or off funsctions are just to keep the check engine lights from coming on in either of the two functions. I am by no means an expert on this but I think that is how it works.

The dpf on and dpf off tuns are totally different power levels even though they fall under the same names

You will have the stock, 40,80,120 dpf on and stock, 80, 160, 250 dpf off right now. There are two other tuning options to download if he would like the "Wild" Tuning or "Easy" Tuning. Everytime though he will have 4 options, all using the same name
