I suppose. But for the odd chance that ever actually happens, I can assure you that 10 thieves have eyeballed it too...

That's why I'm doing a very mild truck this time. My last couple wound up so heavily modified I was scared to drive them...no way I would have left them parked anywhere. Kind of defeats the purpose of building one.

You have built some pretty sick trucks Richard. I don't blame you for not wanting to drive them or leave them anywhere. Heck my truck isn't much but I'm nervous leaving them parked places.

Try insuring a $100K+ truck build for replacement value. It's not that easy.
If you got it...you got it. If you're trying to crunch numbers and figure out a way to do it then....obviously you dont. At $100k + truck build...???...I'd have my money elsewhere. That's like buying or building a 10k sq ft house and crying when the electric bill came

I've had no problem "making it happen", it's just not as easy as calling up your agent and stroking a check. I'm guessing you've never done it and don't actually have a clue.
At any rate...even fully insured it's almost not worth driving them. Too many morons that want to steal your junk, tear it up, vandalize....whatever.
I've had it all happen over the years.

It went to Wisconsin where it lives in a climate controlled garage with Duke1n's old truck....if you remember him. Same guy bought them both.

You're piecing together a leveling kit with Carli springs and bilstein shocks... ummm add a track bar and that is identical to the Carli Leveling kit they sell as a kit for like $900 and rides like a caddy. Granted its not a 3k kit but its leaps and bounds better than a $50 spacer.

Do a trac bar drop bracket from Ready Lift for $125 bucks instead of the adjustable bar....ride just as good and have the bars geometry in better shape.

That's the plan, WMS...errr...was the plan until Unbroken's suggestion. It might keep me in the good...I mean better graces of the CFO. Lol.
