Soooo...... since I am on the topic of urea.. I see the box says its 67% h2o and 33% urea.... how many of you run straight water in your trucks?

I talked with a local tire store owner that has two 6.7s.. claims he has 50k on one and 70k on the other running h2o only and not def.

False claims I would guess.

the exhaust is equiped with a NOx sensor. it knows what its NOx reduction is.

My buddy that is an Audi tech says the same thing. Water will work. There is something with the sensor that detects water as def fluid. He told me that they tell customers that are stranded to add water.

A strap wrench works great for removing frame rail fuel filter housing. No chance of breaking the bowl. Been using a strap wrench since the first fuel filter change.

I went into the message display trying to learn how to clear my oil alert message and found another mystery. If you follow the vehicle display pathway, you come to a DTE calculation. You can choose either "normal" or "towing".

Anyone have a clue?
