questions after Liftpump installation

Installed a Ad200 w/beans sump but still have upper bowl in place. My plan is to run a fuel bowl ****** asap but until then would you keep that filter up top or run it open w/just the cap until delet3d? Thanks, Jayson

I believe there is a relief or drain valve that the filter pushes down on. Thats why the aftermarket filters mess things up. So, i'd run a filter in it for the time being.
