Im wondering if anybody knows what the tread pitch on the trans drain plug is on a 5r110? trying to install a mechanical trans temp gauge in the truck. thanks yall.

I think the pitch is 1.5, but I'm not certain.
The better place to put it is in the test port on the side of the trans. That port is a 1/8" NPT thread.
