Radiator drain valve

The head of the drain valve on my 6.0 radiator just snapped off when I was tightening it back up during a flush. :doh: Does anyone know if you can just replace that part or am I going to be spending a bunch of money for a new radiator?

So you can just replace the drain cock? If so that's great news because with my luck I was prepared to have to replace the whole radiator.

yes, use a 7/8mm allen to back it back out, than pull it out once coolant stops draining

metal might rust or corrode. better to just stick with the plastic and just be careful

I looked and wasn't able to find anything, but I am just going to change it out in about 30k before this one gets brittle.

I think I remember it being like 6$ from Ford or something close...wasn't much..

I guess it needs to be on the routine maintenance list. Lol
