Radio in the cubby hole

Anyone ever mounted or seen about someone mounting a single din in the cubby hole where the pedal moving button goes if you have that....

I have seen some custom cutting to fit a small CB radio. A single DIN seems like it would be a tad large to me. I had my 2004 a long time ago and can't recall if there are other things behind that area that would need to be cut out.

I figured it out, turns out if you cut it right the cubby acts as a holder for the time being until I can make a bracket for it...

I cut the opening a little too wide so I have some gaps I gotta go back and fix... and theres nothing back there.... theres the wiring for the pedal switch, but im poor and own a XLT so it didn't come with that... yay random wires!
