hi i have a 2002 f350 7.3 and for the past week now the brake light has turned on at random times with a constant dinging with it then sometimes will turn off and may stay off for 5 minuets or not even come back for another day. no problems with the brakes itself, everything works as it should. pad and rotors were replaced last month and the fluid is full. i searched the forum and saw most people pointing to the vacuum pump and to check it by pulling the hose off the brake booster but my truck doesn't have a brake booster and i am having trouble finding the vacuum pump itself. i have a feeling that this inst an uncommon problem so any advice would be appreciated. thanks, Kevin.

If you scan it for codes, there should be an ABS or a BCM code.. my completely wildass guess would be the float in the master cyl reservoir

the parking brake is adjusted properly, yes?

Vac pump on an obs going bad could cause abs light? Or parking brake light?

Yes, the OBS trucks had a vacuum operated booster. Superduty trucks do not. They use a hydroboost, no vacuum involved. The OP's truck is 2002.
