truck is a 2002 f250. Truck runs great for about 20-30 minutes or until oil temp gets about 150 then shuts down with no spit or spudder like you turned the key off. I replaced cam positioning sensor but still does the same thing so I check HPOP while running and it stays about 550-650 at idle but after it shuts down the pressure only gets to 148 while trying to start and it wont start back up for a couple of hours. The entire motor is new besides HPOP, injectors, and tubo. I am also running geaheads stage 1 cam and there tunes. Please help

Have you checked all your grounds? Electrical issues wreak havoc on these motors. I've had a few that did crazy stuff.

Yes I have checked and rechecked all of my connections. Also I forgot most of my sensors are not new. Anyone have any advice, I am about to pull my hair out.

ICP sensor?
Unplug it and see what happens..

I unplugged the icp sensor and the truck started up and ran for about 20 minutes and then it shut down. While cranking with the icp unplugged the pressure got up to 1800 on the scanner with no start, plug the sensor back in and the pressure only gets to 148 while cranking with no start. Just ran a KOEO test and came up with code P1283 IPR circuit fault. Also when truck is cold there is no hard start issues and when it's running it runs really good. Please help going crazy.

What kind of shape is your wiring harness in? May want to try new IPR.

Try a new IPR coil. Mine did that same thing. I could pour cold water on the coil and it would run again till it warmed.

Harness probably isn't in the best shape but no signs of chafed or broken wires. I think I am going to try new IPR and IPC and go from there. If anyone has any more suggestions please help

Could the issue be a LPOP or HPOP going out? Once the oil gets warm, there's not enough pressure?

LPOP is new but not saying it can't be bad and I hope it's not the HPOP don't have the $ for that right now

Why did you get a new LPOP? Do you have access to AE so you can do some data logging?

The entire motor is brand new with only 4000 miles on it besides HPOP, injectors, turbo, and a couple of sensors. Yes I have access to data logging.

Try data logging some runs with ICP, IPR, DC, MAP, MFD, TP in it. Maybe trash in the IPR?

Checked everything earlier today and it all looked good until motor shuts down. I cant remember what everything was reading but will check again tomorrow and post numbers. I posted what the icp was doing in previous post and that was the only one that wasn't acting normal that I can remember but I will check again tomorrow.

Maybe crazy, but it either has to be oil or PCM related. Didn't another member have symptoms similar to this?

does it always act like that with the icp sensor unplugged? hot or cold?

When cold if the icp is unplugged or plugged in it fires right up and runs for about 20 minutes and then shuts down like you turned the key off no spit or sputter. With sensor plugged in the icp stays about 550 at idle and jumps right up to 2000 if you pat the throttle and with the sensor unplugged it stays just above 700 at idle. After its shuts down and I try to restart with the icp plugged in the pressure only gets to 148 while cranking and with icp unplugged it gets to 1800 while cranking with no start either way. I will do some more data logging later today when I am around the truck.
