I can't stand the hideous center caps that come with these wheels....so I'm having some billet ones made that will have nothing but the recesses for the lugs fading into a smooth domed "cap". NO fake bolts, no RBP logo and no cheap ass bolts holding them on that rust.
These will be bolted on through the back of the wheel. I'll drill out the existing screw holes all the way through the wheel then bevel the back side so the bolt will sit flush, the cap will be threaded and bolted on from the back.

I don't have pics yet because they're still in the drawing stage on the program but if anyone is interested I can, when they're done forward a CAD drawing...or you can wait to see mine when they're done.

Just throwing this out there since I'm having a set made for my truck in case someone else wanted a set.
They won't be cheap...one-off billet parts never are. Figure 150 bucks per cap if you're interested.

what color are the rbp caps? Silver or black and are you gonna sell them? I think they might bolt up to my 91r's...

Mine will be powdercoated black. My buddy with the CNC shop is making them for me. I won't be selling them..just putting it out there that they will be available soon.
Like everything else from Hellmann Performance...I know they will be top notch.
Joe has a powdercoating set-up at the shop...I'm sure he could do whatever color someone wants.

Once you have the CAD I'd like to see. I can picture it, but I'm sure the real thing will be better. I don't like the caps my wheels came with, wanted black, so this might be the ticket.

I have to get a cap back to Joe next week for some final dimensions. Hope to have something to show shortly after then.
The high cost right now is just for the cost of aluminum billets to cut....the price on that stuff is through the roof right now.

Dang, he's got everything over there now. I really just need to move to Texas. LOL

.

That is the same thing I was thinking. I need to drive out there and talk with Joe. Might have to leave the check book at home though. LOL

Ive got 96r's and with less than 1000 miles ive already had the cheap chrome rpb plate fly off. The cab is still there but the center chrome disc that has the logo is gone. Its just double sided taped on there. Cheap design.

Mine started pealing up and were dented very easily. so i tore them off and now have just the plastic black caps. i made some sheet metal plates that are perfectly rounded to cover the holes but never put them on. Im not to impressed with the wheels in general after a year of owning them.

Problems with them ?
My truck isn't driven much so I don't expect any issues in the near future.
Those caps gotta go though....They'll totally f*ck up my view of my SSBC V8 calipers. LOL
