Rear axle spindle nut

I need to pull the LH rear axle hub on my 08 F250. This is a Ford 10.5 rear axle, correct? Would the socket listed here be correct for this application? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/otc-6601/overview/ Thanks for any help.

That looks like it. I've got the OTC socket at the shop, I'll double check the part # on it tomorrow and post it up

Don't forget one side has reverse threads.

Thanks guys. I thought it was right, but wanted to be sure. Any idea what side is LH threads? I'm pulling the driver side hub.

sorry never got back to you yesterday, was crazy at work. pretty sure the driver side has the regular threads on it and the pass side is reverse. been awhile since I did it though. heres the socket you need:

I ended up pulling both rear axle hubs. For the record... The socket listed above is correct and works great. The drivers side is reverse thread and the passenger side is RH thread. If anyone reading this would be doing this as well, make sure you have replacement hub seals on hand (I did, thankfully). Both of my seals pulled apart when pulling the hubs off so there is zero chance of reassembly without replacing the seals.
