**** rebuilt fresh 6.4 short block ****

6.4 engine had 130k and some change on it

was a perfect running engine, deck got nicked with a forklift so took the block had to be decked, tore the motor down to bare block and did a full rebuild on it


block has been decked & line bored
mahle hd pistons (.10 over)
crank checked & polished
factory rods
new front cover gasket
balanced rotating assembly
new upper & lower oil pan engine

This motor will come exactly as it comes from ford with the exception of oil cooler

motor has never been run and all parts / bearings are new

3800 shipped (stock block from ford runs 5500 or so plus core)
no core needed

Unfortunately it’s not uncommon for this level of customer service with Airfish. And clearly with multiple customers too. I had a similar situation several years ago with a ported intake. “It’s getting shipped out next week.” - was what I heard for nearly a month. Then the next month with repeated pm’s, only got a response after I threatened to report them. Finally got it after threatening to file a claim with PayPal and get my money back.

Vowed I’d never do business with them again, but got in a bind last year when I found out I needed heads for my 6.4 build. I called this time instead of doing it via pm’s. Was assured that they’d be shipped in proper crates and timely. The only part that was actually done was timely shipping. Each head showed up in an oversized box with maybe 2 pieces of packing paper each. Both boxes were damaged severely. A corner of one head had a nick on it. Had to take them to the machine shop just to verify they were still straight. It was an absolute joke! They were the only ones available and I was in a time crunch. But after receiving them, I remembered why I vowed to never use them again!

I would absolutely say buyer beware with this outfit.

Lol mine came not even strapped to a pallet or wrapped, it was laying on its side, not even strapped! Consider yourself lucky.

Nothing is as advertised or agreed upon, looks like I paid $3800 for a pile of shop rags! This a junk yard motor, hasn’t even been cleaned, has wrong pistons in it, front cover is junk, cam shows wear. Did this as not t state all parts would be new and engine would be as it would come from Ford?
