I'd do those MTZ's but they're a little over $100 more per tire than the Toyo MTs. I found the MT's for $296 a piece while the cheapest MTZs I can find are $401.

.

Where are you getting your price on the Toyo'd from? That is less than my cost.

The General Grabbers would look sick on your truck

Well since I have my Z now I'll be racing it a lot more than the truck, lol. So I'm gonna go ahead and put some e-rated mud tires on the truck and sell the Nitto 555's.

What recommendations do y'all have? I want something between 31" and 33" that'll fit on an 18x10 wheel.

.

What size are the 555s? I may be interested in them for my stock KR 18s

My Choices if I were to run 33s would be:

1. TOYO Open Country M/T
2. Kuhmo Road Venture M/T
3. Nitto Trail Grappler (Not terra)

But If I were to run 35s on a Z like I did in the past Id go balls out with either of these 2:
Super Swamper SSRS
or
SS-m16s

Great choice.

I agree the Grabbers would look nice but he had said mud tire and while I have not run them on my personal truck many guys I have run with have. Dirt, desert, wet, rock all good. Sticky mud not so much. They get filled up very fast and takes serious wheel speed to get them to self clean at all. Not exactly a diesel truck's forte. But I do like the looks of them.

Honestly though tires with sidewall tread IMO look the nastiest.

I think you made a great choice IMO with the MTZ. Its what I would have picked for myself out of the choices in your shoes. Enjoy!!!!!!!

One thing for sure is make sure to rotate and balance on a tight schedule. I do this with all my tires and I swear I many times get double the mileage I see most posting online. I also fill with nitrogen as I have a good deal on it.

I've ran toyo's on my old gasser in a 35x12.50x20 and I loved them. I'm running a 37x12.50x20 in the nitto trail grappler mt on my 08 f250 right now and I've been really impressed with then. To be honest, you couldn't go wrong with either one of them. I would've done a 37 on a toyo mt if they still made them in a 12.50 instead of a 13.50.

This... I rotate essentially every oil change (3-4000 miles) and have over 20k on my atz's with little wear. I think I will easily get 80-100k out of these tires... When most claim 40k or so.
