Jim, how many miles would you recommend I put on my 17 before I switch to LE?

Drained that stuff at 2500 miles. Plan to drain it again at 5k. Used the 10/30 Motorcraft.

Still stock. I’m limited to 97mph. Lol but it’s still doing CA trips. Not driving it too hard really.

Figured I’d throw in what it came with for now. I’m sure the weight will do ok for the time being. I have a whole Pail of 5w-40 from Jim I want to start using lol.

I’ll probably be just fine at 5k miles... I think I started full syn on the 2015 at 10k iirc.

That’s pretty subjective.
Honestly, 500 miles should be fine. I waited til 1500

8700 or 8800 in a 6.7 that never see temps below 30 degrees? Or would you still recommend the 8854. I tow 16k about 250 miles an oil change. Trying to do 7500 oci but if I can go longer with a filter and top off I will. 6.7 stuff fell off awhile ago. Been running t5 at that oci.

That number should be about 1000 miles towing per oil change.
