I was told by a credible source with detailed "inside" knowledge that they have purchased several of my products and I should expect more of the same. Pretty classy bunch they are... :puke:

No problem man. I'm guessing this is Dennis (I'm on my phone if its in the sig). It's the best kit to buy. I'm know you might be able to save a bucks by doing it yourself but I like the fact that everything is there you need and if there's any issues, you call one company.

Sorry for posting the link to Sinister. I know they COMPLETELY copied your kit and that is f*cked up.

Some things are not as easy to patent as you might think...and then there is the minor amount you have to change an item in order to get around the patent. There are a number of companies in this business that operate this way...let someone else do all the hard work and then buy and copy the parts and sell for less (because no development costs...probably not paying any product liability insurance, etc). No different than buying from China (heck, some of them are having their copied parts made there to make they super price competitive)...sad!

Hey, have you looked at their hose and fitting quality? Woof! we sell them, but I try to steer everyone towards your kits Dennis. They're just that much better. The funny part is, they're not even that much cheaper!

I've never held one in my hand, don't care to. I can see what I need to see in the pictures...another fuel system band wagoner that doesn't understand why or how...just understands "sell this and make money" and "be cheaper than who we got the design from" and "quantity over quality".

I'm just surprised you guys actually sell them...since you just made the comment that you did. For such a small difference in price...why even sell a clearly inferior product?

Being new to the 6.0's, why do you replace the factory lines going to the front of the cylinder head?
Is it just larger better flowing lines?

So instead of regulating the pressure before it gets to the heads, your system has the regulator after the cylinder head so the regulator isn't a restriction point, correct?

The stock regulator isn't a restriction, it's just in the wrong place. The stock lines and banjos are restrictive. We upgrade the lines to larger, higher flowing pieces...and we move the regulator to where is should be...AFTER all of the pressure drop and demand. This ensures that the pressure we set on the regulator is what we actually have at the injectors.

Not sure what you mean about the "junction from the factory lines". We completely remove the stock lines from the front of the engine, remove the stock fittings from the filter bowl, and install our own fittings and custom banjo bolts.

Basically what I was wondering if you were tapping into the pressure/return fuel lines on the frame rail from the pump. The reason I asked was because you said the factory lines and banjos are restrictive but if the lines going to and from the pump never increased in diameter, then those lines are still the restriction in the system as they are still the same size as the ones removed. The demise in the 6.0 fuel system lies with the fact that hfcm simply lacks volume. Sure the lines coming off the filter bowl are larger but the lines to/from the hfcm never change in size.

The regulator in your location definitely ensures the required components receive their desired pressure but the pump itself is putting out any larger volume and like I said, the pump's lines are the same size so there will always be a restriction in that system, at least by that design.

The supply line from the pump to the engine is 3/8", which is large enough to support a lot more power than the stock pump can supply. Once the engine fuel system is addressed, the stock pump becomes the next limiting factor...not the line from the pump to the motor. The stock pump is good for up to about a 190cc injector.
