Remote start problems

I have a viper remote starter on my truck and its giving me problems. It was working fine until I unhooked the batteries to install my gauges. Now every time I use it to start the truck with it it acts up. It will start run for 10 seconds and then shut off. Start again run for 10 seconds and shut off. it keeps doing it over and over again. How do I fix this?

It isnt sensing the trucks running. Im guessing it lost programming when you had the batteries undone but that shouldnt of bothered it honestly.

Check the manual and see what methods it has for sensing the vehicles running.

Change the setting to something different to get it back working. Its been so long since I installed mine I dont remember how its setup.

I don't have a manual for it. It came with the truck when I bought it.

You may be able to tell which model alarm you have from the remote but more than likely you will need to find the brainbox and get the number off of that. Then you can download a manual for it.
