So, my new F250 was stolen last week. Its recovered now, but IMO it is thrashed. Some may not agree, but for a brand new truck, its sickening. The point of this post is to ask about tips in dealing with the insurance company in getting the truck back in condition that it was stolen in.
My expectation is this. With the condition the seats are in and all the trim pieces and plastic (not even including the exterior), I would expect the insurance company to not refurbish, but replace with OEM parts. Theres no reason I should I have to deal with an interior that stinks of weed and has been abused. I could have bought used and saved myself some money, if that didnt bother me.
Ive got a message into Sunrise Ford right now, hoping they can get me a little bit of a discount to leave room for replacement parts that they arent going to budge on. They agreed to paint the inside of the bed, but rhino lining would be cheaper. almost $100 cheaper. So we're going that route.
Anyhow... any tips would help. Thank you.
