So, like just about everybody, i agree that the factory headlights suck balls. Ive always had hids in everything and while im pretty big assholee, i feel like the 11-16 headlights would really just make people hate me that much more-

Not really a fan of the over complicated fleabay/anzo/whatever brand projector headlights with all the extra lights and ****.

But on eBay theres a set of diy headlights with black housings and the lense all sold as a diy set. (Glue the lense on myself kind of thing)

Where do i find a generic projector thats worth a ****t? Im thinking some good hid projectors in place of stock headlight bulb.. then paint the black housing blue to match my paint.

Is there such thing as an h13 projector? Or do i have to switch to the h1?

Anyone thats done it have any tips?

I used those for my 09 retrofit. I chose morimoto mini h1 projectors. I also added several leds and color matched the insides of the housings. They worked great.

Is there like a wiring adapter to go from the h13 to h1?

I believe the retrofit source has kits made for this that include projectors, shrouds, bulbs etc... it's been a few years but I did this on my 2010

I'm looking forward to the Morimoto LED projectors to come out. The side lighting like having enough spill to see into a side street to turn. I wish there were separate high and low beams.

Not to be a d!ck, but it looks like a copy/paste from The Retrofit Source, pictures and all. Maybe everything is supplied by Morimoto.

Yeah that's what I thought when I hit the link also.

I can do some handi work, but I don't know if I can pull off the projector install and be happy with it. I really would like to make the upper section high beams with LED halos for the turn signals on the upper section.
